
The specific objective of the project is to assess the state of the environment in the Moldova Nouă – Bor mining area, including air, water, soil pollution and the health of the population, assessing the associated environmental risk and to raising awareness about emergency situations and solutions for adapting to climate change.
The novelty is the complex, interdisciplinary, at cross-border approach, in the context of climate change, regarding the environmental factors, and also the correlation and integration of the notions of mining activity – tailings dump – human health.
