In the case of water from the monitored wells, the concentrations of copper, nickel, and lead were well below the permissible limits for drinking water. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through the ERA-MIN_RO-SRB project, the Polytechnic University of Timi\u0219oara and the Bor Institute of Mining and Metallurgy are contributing to a better understanding of the risks associated with mining activities and to the development of joint solutions for environmental protection and sustainable management in the Romania\u2013Serbia cross-border region.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project is co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg IPA Romania\u2013Serbia Program.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Un an de monitorizare a mediului \u00een zona minier\u0103 transfrontalier\u0103 Rom\u00e2nia\u2013Serbia, noi rezultate \u00een cadrul proiectului ERA-MIN, coordonat de UPT.
