The first workshop organized by the lead partner, Politehnica University of Timișoara, dedicated to the project “Environmental risk assessment from mining activities as a result of tailings storage in the cross-border area Romania – Serbia – ERA-MIN_RO-SRB”, RORS00063, funded by the Interreg-IPA Romania–Serbia Program, will take place in Timișoara.

The meeting agenda includes the presentation of the results of environmental monitoring carried out in the summer of 2025 in the Romania-Serbia border area, as well as the assessment of the environmental impact of mining activities and tailings waste disposal, based on data obtained from the processing of samples collected from the field.
